She was the first Mexican-American to earn the title of Playmate of the Year, Her centerfold was photographed by Arny Freytag. However, it weighs a freaking TONNE.Raquel Pomplun (born October 24, 1987) is a model and actress and the Playboy Playmate of the Month for April 20 Playmate of the Year. Two of them are small boxes that can carry about 4-6 decks, and another can carry 8 if I leave the removable tray in it, or up to a dozen if I take it out (as above, pull a couple decks to bake room for the dice pencil case).įinally, the “Commander’s Arsenal” plastic ammo box currently holds 40 decks in boxes, a “toolkit” box with extra cards for two of my decks, an Ultra Pro 3x3 card portfolio of tokens, a hard plastic pencil case box of dice/dials/coins/counters, 4 dry erase markers for my tokens, and a pen and a few life/notepads, plus my playmate in a plastic case, lashed to the side with Velcro tape. However, the metal boxes get a little heavy sometimes, so I went back and bought some plastic ammo boxes. They have space for a small Ultra Pro 2x2 token binder to slide in, and if I pull a couple decks, I have room for a pencil case of dice/disks/markers/etc. To carry all my decks, I bought a bunch of metal ammo boxes from an army surplus store, spray painted them black, then decorated them with a variety of designs. The 22-S are great for Jumpstart boosters.įor deck boxes, I use either Legion deck boxes, or Ultra Pro 100s boxes. They also make 22-S (22 sleeves cards) and a whole host of other sizes. I think these hit the sweet spot between affordability and protection.ĭouble sleeve decks will not fit however, and dragon shield sleeves with 10 tokens is snug but not overly so. I don’t need the security or sturdiness of a Boulder but I want something more reliable than a couple rubber bands. Can you throw a couple into your bag? Sure, as long as you’re not carrying bricks in there it’ll be fine, besides I still have a deck organizer that they go into when traveling anyways. Or I can use Gamegenic Value Matte Sleeves ($10 for 200) and a 100-S box for a dollar, then the deck only cost me $56 to buy, sleeve, and box.ĭo they offer the same protection that a boulder does? No. I can either spend $12 on sleeves and $15 on a deck box bringing the total to about $75 per precon (with purchase of deck). Here is why I like them so much, I have 100 decks, I collect the precons, and they each need a deckbox. ![]() ![]() I absolutely love the 100-S perfect fit boxes from BurgerTokens. Plus, now everyone I play Magic with knows I am a cultured gentleman with impeccable taste (until they look at the stickers). It still fits in a backpack, so it isn't too much to lug around. Then you can slap stickers all over that bad boy, or, if you are more artistically inclined, you could even paint it! It is certainly bulkier than any of the actual designed-to-hold-cards-and-not-bottles-of-wine boxes, but I never am worried that the box won't be enough protection. I don't think this would hold the jumbo double-sleeved boxes though.) (Continuing the cheapass theme, I mostly use the plastic Ultra Pro ones, but I have a couple of Boulder boxes that fit just as well. Cool! But then, that box is the perfect size to hold 6 individual EDH deck boxes. If that's the case, there are plenty of other comments that seem like they are offering really good advice.īut if you decide you want to be a total cheapass? Buy one of those wine boxes that holds two bottles of wine. You mentioned that you aren't opposed to shelling out a little money for a nice big multiple deck holder. ![]()
